7. Ricky Martin

Enrique José Martín Morales, commonly known as Ricky Martin, is a Puerto Rican singer, actor and author. Martin began his career at age 12 with the male pop group Menudo. After five years with the group, he released several solo albums in Spanish during the 1990s.

 

He also performed on stage and on television in Mexico, where he achieved modest stardom. In 1994, he appeared in the American soap opera General Hospital, playing a Puerto Rican singer.
