4. Snyder Rini

Snyder Rini is a Solomon Islands politician who was briefly the eighth Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands from April to May 2006 and was Minister for Finance and Treasury 2000–2001, 2002–2003, 2007–2010 and 2014–2017. He has represented Marovo Constituency in National Parliament since 1997.  

5. Rick Houenipwela-$ 11 million

Rick Houenipwela, more commonly known as Rick Hou, is a politician, and the immediate past Prime Minister of Solomon Islands from 15 November 2017 to 24 April 2019. He has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and served as the governor of the Central Bank of Solomon Islands from 1993 to 2008, before becoming Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of the World Bank, and then going into politics. The Solomon Times described him as “one of the key public figures in the Solomon Islands whose credibility is intact, if not enhanced, after resisting corruption and several attempts by fraudsters to bankrupt the nation during the ethnic conflict” of the early 2000s. The magazine Islands Business named him “Man of the Year” for the Pacific region in 2003, at a time when he was Governor of the Central Bank.  

6.Manasseh Sogavare-$7 million

Manasseh Damukana Sogavare was the Prime Minister of Solomon Islands from 9 December 2014 to 15 November 2017, and he had served two terms between 2000 and 2001 and between 2006 and 2007. Before becoming Prime Minister, Sogavare served in the National Parliament as Member for East Choiseul beginning in 1997.  

7. David Derek Sikua

David Derek Sikua served as the ninth Prime Minister of Solomon Islands from 20 December 2007 to 25 August 2010. He is a member of the Solomon Islands Liberal Party. He was elected to the National Parliament in April 2006 (as MP for the North East Guadalcanal constituency) and became Minister of Education and Human Resources Development under Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare on 4 May 2006.
