He made the wide range of investments that including the petrochemical and petroleum companies, construction, mining and in agriculture. He formed a coal-based power plant in Egypt with the collaboration of Abu Dhabi’s international petroleum investment. He also established the split OCI’s construction unit for its fertilizer and chemicals business and also formed Orascom construction in UAE and in Egypt.
