7. Luka Rajic
Net worth: 280 Million
For the fourth year in a row, the Croatian dairy king is among the top wealthiest Croats. However, since last year, his fortune has decreased by 5 million Euro.
There are several reasons for this. The dairy industry has been seeing lower profits than in previous years. The purchase of the confectioner’s factory Sloboda did not bring the expected results. Rajić has expanded his operations to Switzerland, where he bought the Favarger chocolate factory.
Those well acquainted with his business believe that Rajić should get more involved in running the business, even though experts believe that Željko Perić, whom Rajić appointed as director, is a perfect manager. Nonetheless, he lacks Rajić’s energy.
