1. Moi High School, Kabarak
This institution is located at Kabarak, approximately 20 kilometers from Nakuru town. It shares a compound with Kabarak primary school and Kabarak University.
This private mixed boarding secondary school was started in 1979 by retired President Daniel Arap Moi, who had a vision of providing affordable secondary education to Kenyan students.
It is currently ranked among Kenya’s top performing secondary schools, and is regarded as the top mixed school in Kenya.
