4. Dorado Academy
Dorado Academy was founded in 1972 by a group of English-speaking neighbors of the Dorado del Mar community. Until 1980 the school was under the control of non-resident directors who developed a curriculum geared towards the needs of the English-speaking families, then residing in Dorado del Mar and other nearby areas, notably officials of pharmaceutical companies. This began our long-time history with students who had an innate interest in STEM related fields and established the collaboration and support from these companies with our school.

Dorado Academy is a private school located in Dorado, PR. It has 750 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1.
