2. Earl Cameron
Hailing from Pembroke, Bermuda, actor Earl Cameron’s colourful life started far before the big screen. After joining the British Merchant Navy as a young man, taking part in World War II and being stranded in London, he found a way onto the stage — and in front of a camera. You may recognize Cameron from his roles in movies like Inception and The Interpreter as well as appearances in BBC features including “Doctor Who” and “Neverwhere.” The Earl Cameron Theatre in Hamilton, Bermuda, was named in his honour.
